iTunes blows...no, seriously, it does.
I don't want the uber-nerds to come tell me everything I did wrong and I know that "the new iTunes" is supposedly free from this problem, but...
iTunes is horrible.
I downloaded a new album a week and a half ago that I still haven't listened to because I still have a dial-up connection (shut it, uber-nerds, I know that it's not Apple's fault). So my big plan was to download said album at work and "transport it" via my flash drive to my home PC...no big deal, right?
well, YES, big deal. Apparently, I've used up my 5 "authorized" PCs that I'm allowed to play this music on. Well, guess what...I haven't even listened to this album ONCE yet, let alone get around to 5 computers to do so.
So I'm left scrounging around iTunes' support pages (remember my dial up problem?) looking for the holy grail known only as iTunes plus....
This is why people download music for free: BECAUSE IT'S SO DAMN EASY.
p.s......if this album is lame, I'm pulling the plug and boycotting Apple for good.

yes, apple is overrated and passionately defended by ubernerds who have way too much money, time, and gadget-lust.
yes, the restrictions on iTunes are ridiculous and infuriating.
no, we're not going to make the leap to "stealing music (or movies, or anything else that doesn't belong to you) is okay."
but i still feel your pain.
thanks for the props on the recent post.
miss you, my friend.
Eh...
Yeah, I agree with both of you.
iTunes, greed, ...why do they always punish the consumers >.>
I bet you've already figured this out by now...
"" How do I deauthorize all of my computers?
If you have authorized five computers, a button labeled "Deauthorize All" will appear in your Account Information screen. This button will deauthorize all computers associated with your account. You can then reauthorize up to 5 computers. Note: You can only use this feature once a year. ""

Eh? How did I stumble across this old post...
It's the first hit on google for "iTunes Blows"
I wanted to see if anyone else shared my feelings.
Ha!
Just wanted to update this after getting incredibly annoyed with my fan boy roommate and apple's inferior products... itunes still blows, badly.
I've been using itunes since I got my iphone 3g a year ago. Between all the software updates, the slowness and constantly duplicating my music, I seriously just want to uninstall it and throw my phone against a rock.
itunes blows!!!!
